Rozelda Nass

Rozelda Nass, 82, Oconto Falls, died Wednesday morning, January 3, 2024 at Meadowbrook nursing home following a short illness.  She was born June 7, 1941 in Terre Haute, IN to Ira and Helen (Ervin) Edmonson.  On May 5, 1962 she married Merlin Nass at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Gillett.  The couple lived in the Oconto Falls area for most of their lives where they raised four children.

Survivors are her husband of 62 years, Merlin Nass; three children, Sheila Smet, Steven Nass and Timothy Gilbertson; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Debbie Nass, one brother Joseph Edmonson, one sister Barbara Gilbertson and half-brother William Edmonson.

Visitation will be held after 9:00 AM Friday, January 12, 2024 at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls until the 10:00 AM service with Pastor Gary Olson officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
