Terry Flanigan

Terry Flanigan, 72, Oconto Falls, died suddenly of natural causes Wednesday, April 20, 2022.  He was born March 9, 1950 in Arkansas and was raised by Harley “Doc” and Betty (Burns) Davis in Port Washington, WI.

As a young man, he served in the US Army from 1973 until 1989 as an MP in various capacities.  Upon his honorable discharge, he moved to New Mexico and was employed as a police officer in various jurisdictions in the Sate until retiring in 2012.  Terry then moved to Oconto Falls to live closer to his daughter and was employed by REM as a driver for people with disabilities.  In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking.

Survivors are his daughter, Tammy (Jim) Kettenhoven, New London; one son, Kenneth Flanigan, TN; one brother, Grady Flannigan, TX; special friends, Jim Reed, Brenda Schneider, Alane Roberts, Sylvia Troy, Rita Broaddus and Keith & Kelly Monroe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Anthony Courchaine in 2007 and three siblings, Jerry Flanigan, Susie and David Davis.

There will be no public visitation or funeral service at this time.  A celebration of life will be held at a time and date to be determined.
