Rollyn R. Radke (92) of Oconto Falls, WI passed peacefully into the heavenly, merciful arms of Jesus on May 10, 2025. Rollyn was born June 27, 1932 to William and Wanda Radke. He grew up on their family farm in Oconto Falls. As one of seventeen children, he learned about sacrificial love and the strength of family bonds. He graduated in 1950 from Oconto Falls High School, where he played football and ran track. He also enjoyed playing league baseball. At one of his games, he met the love of his life, Ruth Loberger. They were married on May 17, 1958 and together raised their eight children. Rollyn was a dedicated employee of Scott Paper Company for more than four decades.
Rollyn had a strong presence and deep love for the Oconto Falls community. He was a member of Saint Anthony Catholic Parish for his entire adult life. He took great joy in attending his children's and grandchildren‘s many sporting events, sometimes serving as an "unofficial" referee or umpire. Watching the Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Wisconsin Badgers was a favorite pastime. He was an avid golfer and became a “family member” of the River Island Golf Course! He also enjoyed horseshoes, jigsaw puzzles, BINGO, and playing cards.
Rollyn is survived by seven children, Beth (Mark) Bostwick, Baraboo; Joan (Douglas) Brylski, Green Bay; Jane (Larry) Duame, Stiles; Marcia Radke, Tampa, FL; Mary (Mark) Huberty, Stiles; Cary (Darin) Meyer, Green Bay; Joseph Radke, Appleton; daughter-in-law, Michelle Radke, Appleton; grandchildren, Michael Bostwick, Rachel (Joey) Brylski-Fischbach, Samuel (Zi Lin) Brylski, Amanda (Charles) Triebwasser, Reece and Owen Duame, Jack and Emma Huberty, Mitchell and Hannah Meyer; and great grandchildren, Quinn Fischbach, Anna and Nora Triebwasser, baby Brylski due in July; five siblings Martha Schroeder, Helen Wiese, Reuben (Lorraine) Radke, Donald (Jeanne) Radke, and Patricia Magnin.
