Roger Ruplinger, 82, Kelly Lake, died peacefully with family at his side at his home on Sunday, February 6, 2022.  The son of Adolph Ruplinger and Agnes (Ritger) Ruplinger was born in Milwaukee where he met and married the love of his life Joanne (Lotter) Ruplinger.  Together they had two daughters.  Roger was a bus driver and later parts distributer for the Milwaukee County Transit Authority, retiring to Kelly Lake after over 33 years of service.  He worked hard his entire life providing for his family, home improvements, crafting, and gardening.   Roger was very loving, thoughtful, and generous, and had a special brand of humor that all who knew him will remember him by.  He loved to travel and together with his wife took many trips near and far to see family, friends, and all the backroads and unique places across America he could find.

Survivors are his wife of 60 years, Joanne, Kelly Lake; two daughters, Julie (Mark) Lutz, Green River, WY; Kathy (Brian) Blumenberg, Neenah; two grandsons, Matt (girlfriend Becky) Blumenberg, Appleton; Dylan (fiancé Jessica) Blumenberg, Neenah; one brother, Ken Ruplinger, Milwaukee; one sister-in-law, Barb Lotter, Green Bay; one brother-in-law, Bill Angus, Oconto Falls; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Harold (Clara), Ruplinger, one sister-in-law, Diane Ruplinger, two sisters-in-law, Marian (Norbert “Nubs”) Marks and Jean Angus, and one brother-in-law, Robert Lotter.

Visitation will take place after 9:00 am Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls until the time of service.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Kamke officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Spruce.
