Patricia Ann Pray

July 23, 1941 — December 9, 2024

Frisco, TX

Patricia Ann (Pat) Pray, age 83, of Frisco, TX, passed away unexpectedly on December 9, 2024. She was born on July 23, 1941, in Oconto Falls, WI, to the late Wencel and Sylvia (Thomson) Murphy. Pat attended St. Anthony Catholic School and graduated from Lena High School in 1959. She continued her education at St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI.

Pat was a devoted and loving mother to her two children: Luann Larson (Steve) and Richard Pray (Michelle). She was also a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother.

Pat met the love of her life, Harry Beauchaine (Skip) Pray, while they were both working at Sears in Green Bay, WI. They were married on September 17, 1960, and together they shared a loving relationship that spanned over six decades. They raised their family in WI and CA, where Pat embraced her role as a homemaker and caregiver. In their retirement years, Pat and Skip enjoyed traveling, making memorable trips to Europe, China, AK, and HI. After Skip's passing due to Parkinson's disease, Pat moved to TX in 2022 to be closer to her son and his family.

Her family meant everything to Pat. She found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Among her favorite activities were playing cards, baking, shopping, and traveling. A particularly treasured memory was her final family vacation to Hilton Head, SC, in August 2024, where her family created precious memories, they will never forget.

Pat is survived by her children Luann Larson (Steve) and Richard Pray (Michelle), grandchildren Kathryn (Larson) Harrington (Keegan), David Larson, Andrea Larson, and Danielle Kirby; and great-grandchildren Quinn and Declan Harrington, her brother, Allan Murphy (Kathy), and sister, Marilyn (Murphy) Wieber (Mike), along with several nieces and nephews: James Van Hefty (godson), Patrick Van Hefty, Melissa Pytleski, Jaime Egan, and Adam Murphy (godson). Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Harry (Skip) Pray; siblings Jeanne (Murphy) White, James Murphy, and baby brother Howard.
