Patricia “Pat” L. Hudson

Patricia “Pat” L. Hudson, Suamico, died peacefully, with her family at her side, on Sunday, July 8, 2018.  Pat was born July 25, 1936 to Roland and Rose (Murphy) Valentine.  She grew up in the Abrams area and graduated from OcontoFallsHigh School with the class of 1954.  Following high school, she earned her RN degree from Misericordia School of Nursing in Milwaukee.

On April 4, 1959 she married Donald “Don” J. Hudson at St. Joseph Church in Chase and they lived in the Green Bay area all of their married lives.  Pat was employed as a nurse for many years in pediatrics and the last 10 years of her career at BrownCountyMentalHealthCenter. Over the years, Pat and Don enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, skiing and playing cards with family and friends. Family was always extremely important to them.  They took great pride in their children and grandchildren and enjoyed attending their numerous events.  Pat enjoyed working in her beautiful flower gardens and was also a talented seamstress.

Pat will be missed by her husband Don, Suamico; their four children, Tom (Roni Disney) Hudson, Baraga, MI; Tim (Lisa) Hudson, Waukesha; Lynn (Randy) Oettinger, Howard; Leann (fiancé John Duke) Hudson, Howard; grandchildren, Rick DeMoulin (and family), Dain, Pierce and Jordyn Hudson, Jarrod, Jesse and Jonah Oettinger, Taylor and Autumn Arbour; sisters, Marion Stepien, Sobieski; Barbara (Larry) Tilque, Pittsfield; Rosalie (husband Jim Lieberton) Valentine, VA; nieces, nephews, and many friends.

She will be greeted in Heaven by her parents and two grandchildren, Samantha and Donnie Hudson along with many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held after 10amSaturday, July 14, 2018 until the time of service at Jones Funeral Service in OcontoFalls.  Funeral services will be held 12 noon Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Stuart Dorafeld officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
