Oscar "Ozzie" Kardoskee, 75, Oconto Falls, died peacefully Wednesday evening, September 30, 2026. He was born October 7, 1950 in Oconto Falls to Oscar and Sally (Elsesser) Kardoskee Sr. Ozzie lived all of his life in Oconto Falls where he attended Oconto Falls Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1969. In his youth, he drag raced for many years in Kaukauna.
Ozzie was fond of Oconto Falls and life on the farms which he farmed, enjoyed sharing it with his family and friends. Over the years, he was employed by Scott Paper Co. the REA and driving semi-trucks, especially with both of his son's for his son's company, JTI Trucking. Ozzie enjoyed pheasant and deer hunting, hosting events on the farm and in his younger years, Sunday rec basketball which many of his fellow participants recall with a smile. He once drove school bus for Oconto Falls School District. As an avid trap shooter, more than once he won the memorial trophy named after his father.
Survivors are his three children, Jason (Jenny) Kardoskee, Oconto Falls; Laura (US Army vet, Eric) Reimer, Woodbury, MN; Kevin (Amy) Kardoskee, Oconto Falls; he was Papa to five grandchildren, US Army vet Ethan (Morgan), current USAF Logan (Addi) and Dylan Reimer, Riley Kardoskee; Reina Kardoskee and his Klondike and Sheboygan cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and in 1970, brother Steve.
Visitation will be held after 9:00 AM Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls until the time of service at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
