Nancy Carol Moes, born on April 3, 1942, in Lena, WI, peacefully passed away on January 26, 2026, at the age of 83. She grew up in Spruce and graduated from Oconto Falls High School, class of 1960. She married Thomas Moes on June 13, 1964 at Grace Lutheran Church in Green Bay.
A passionate business owner, Nancy operated The Interior Shoppe on Main Street in Oconto Falls for 18 years, bringing beauty and comfort to countless homes. Her creative spirit extended to her love for camping with her late husband, Tom, as they explored cherished destinations like Eagle River in the summer and Mexico Beach, FL, where they shared joyful winters shelling on the beach. Other favorite past times include fishing, bowling, skiing and birding.
A longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Nancy led the Hi-League for many years, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to her community. She cherished her many friends.
She is survived by her children; Pam (Pat) Hogan, Molly (Jeff) Marquardt, and Mitch (Jacqueline Braun) Moes; grandchildren, Ryan (Marissa), Kristin (Codi), Grace, Greta, Sawyer, and Marley; great grandchildren, Easton, Colton, Kolbie, Jackson, Carson, Dawson; sisters, Sally (Fred) Witt, Yvonne Meyers, and Barb Baugnet; brothers, Larry (Irma) Luisier and Tom (Cheryl) Luisier; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband in 2010, Tom; parents, Arthur and Dorothy; grandson, Trevor Marquardt; sister, Annette (George) Whalen; and brothers-in-law, Ken Meyers and Greg Baugnet.
A viewing will be held for family and friends after 9:00 am on Monday, February 2, 2026 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Little Suamico. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Stacy Malzhan officiating. A burial will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery in Spruce.
