Mayfred Lotter

Mayfred Lotter, 99, Oconto Falls, died Friday afternoon, October 4, 2019 at Atrium Post Acute Care. She was born July 3, 1920 in Oconto Falls to Lawrence and Verna (Ball) Junco. Mayfred attended Oconto Falls Public Schools, graduating from high school with the class of 1941.

On September 27, 1941 she married Leo Lotter at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Milwaukee for 6 years before moving to Florida and Denver, CO and then returning to Oconto Falls. Mayfred was a lifelong member of St. Anthony Catholic Church where she was once active in the PCCW and helped serve funeral dinners. She also volunteered at the local senior citizens center, delivering meals for 13 years. Mayfred also belonged to the Oconto County Homemakers.

Survivors are her son, Thomas (Muriel) Lotter, Lena; four grandchildren, Grace (Jamie) Greetan, Sarah (Maverick), Nicholas and Thomas Lotter Jr.; four great grandchildren, Evan and Emma Greetan, Chester and James Lotter; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Louise in 1995, husband Leo in 2010 and one brother Greg (Delores) Junco.

Visitation with the urn present will take place after 10am Thursday, October 10, 2019 at St. Anthony Catholic Church until the time of service. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am at the church with the Rev. Fr. Joel Sember officiating.
