Marcia Diane Wagner passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital Green Bay. She was born on September 30, 1947 in Oconto Falls to the late Rudolph "Rudy" and Marion Wagner of Gillett, Wisconsin. She was a 1965 graduate of Gillett High School. She also graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a "Home-Ec" degree or what is today called a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences Education (FCSE).
She resided in Oconto Falls upon her retirement after being employed as a teacher at Wausaukee High School for over 35 years, displaying remarkable dedication to her students and profession. Marcia tended to be outgoing socially with a wry wit, enjoying travel and being with friends. Her biggest passion, though, was her teaching profession to which she gave much energy in being creative and supportive to all in and out of the classroom. She also was a committed member of her beloved Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Suring.
Marcia was preceded in death by her grandparents and parents. She is survived by a sister, Jill (David) Bowers of Marion; nephew, Tim (fiancée, Kristy) Bowers; niece, Beth Bowers; and many cousins.
Family, friends, and others are invited gather after 9:00 AM on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church (11005 Co Rd M, Suring, WI) until the time of service at 10:00 AM with Pastor Beth Macha officiating. Burial will take place at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Gillett.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Marcia's name to the Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church Education Fund.
