Kenneth Allen Meyers

November 6, 1943 — November 17, 2025

Spruce

Kenneth Allen Meyers of Spruce, WI, passed away on November 17, 2025, at his home, where he was happiest, surrounded by his family. He was born on November 6, 1943, to Carl and Isabel Meyers. Ken attended college in Green Bay, WI, and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Yvonne Luisier on August 28, 1965, and together they had four children: James, Chris, Suzanne, and Megan.

Along with his brother-in-law, Fred Witt, Ken purchased Luisier Drilling from his father-in-law and was the owner for 32 years before passing it down to his son, James, and daughter-in-law, Stephanie. He later started and ran In-Well Technologies for 12 years. He also served on the Oconto Falls School Board for several years.

Ken loved his wife and his family. His grandkids were his pride and joy. He spent time talking to each one, creating a special relationship that was uniquely theirs. He enjoyed downhill skiing and would often pack his kids and their friends into the motorhome to enjoy a day on the slopes. He loved to solve problems. He was inquisitive and was passionate about sharing that knowledge, wonder, and wisdom with everyone around him. He loved the Pink Panther movies and would often break into the kind of laughter that pulled everyone around him along for the ride at the mention of a "priceless Steinway" or his favorite line, "Not my dog." He remembered every water well he ever drilled and loved to point them out while driving down the back roads to avoid the assassins he joked were after him. He did all of this while teaching us to be "Just Terrific," honest, kind, and to face life with the humor he carried so naturally. Being around him made you feel truly seen - and certain you mattered to him.

Ken is survived by his wife, Yvonne; his son, Christopher (Sarah); and his daughters, Stephanie Meyers, Suzanne (Ryan) Verhagen, and Megan (Zachary) Jensen. He leaves behind grandchildren he adored - Gregory (Stacey), Morgan, Ross, Adeline, Jessica, Tess, Gwendolyn, Asher, Dorothy, Bert, and Juniper - along with great-grandchildren Stella, Macy, Charlie, Josie, and Gracie, who brought him so much joy. He is also survived by his brothers, Jerry (Donna) Meyers, Keith (Marie) Meyers, and Karl (Lavonne) Meyers; his sister-in-law, Ginny Meyers; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Isabel; his father- and mother-in-law, Arthur and Dorothy Luisier; his brothers, Ron and Vern; his son, James; and his "purchasing manager", Thorny Vandersnatch.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Jones Funeral Service. The funeral service will begin at 12:30 PM with Pastor Ryan Landwehr officiating. A burial will take place at a later date in Pine Hill Cemetery in Spruce.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you watch The Pink Panther, listen to Roger Miller, practice your yodeling, and enjoy your life to its absolute fullest - just the way Ken would have wanted.

We will miss you, Dad. You have officially won. You get all the horses.
