Karen Dumas, 79, Lena, died Monday afternoon, February 19, 2018 at Rennes East in Peshtigo. She was born July 7, 1938 in Racine to Wilbur and Pearl (Sommerfeld) Jensen. Karen graduated Oconto High School with the class of 1957.
On May 1, 1959 she married Ronald P. Dumas in Arlington, VA. The couple lived in the Town of Stiles for all of their married lives. Karen was an avid reader who loved time spent with her family. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Stiles.
Survivors are her six children, Judy (Rick) Skrzypkowski, Plover; Donna (Tim) Reedy Hudson; Lori Dumas, Eagle; Steven (Julie Krause) Dumas, Mount Horeb; Mark Dumas, Ridgeway; Paul (Patte) Dumas, Stiles; nine grandchildren, Danielle (Lucas) Roberts, Caty (Brandon) Kitchen, Ben and Abby Reedy; Isaiah, Kaven and Liam Dumas; Justin Dumas and Tressa (Garrett) Weber; seven great grandchildren, Quianna, Amos, Abraham and Atticus Roberts; Milly Kitchen; Mavrik and ShayLeigh Weber; one brother, Ronald (Ann) Jensen, CT; two sisters, Sandy (Mike) Everard, Pound; Muriel (Tom) Lotter, Lena; her late husband Ron’s family who stayed so close.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Ron in 1989.
Visitation with the urn present will be held after 9:30am Monday, February 26, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Stiles until the time of service. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am Monday at the church with the Rev. Fr. Joel Sember officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
