Jon C. Topping, 45, Oconto Falls, died suddenly Tuesday evening, December 29, 2020 in ICU at a Green Bay hospital following complications from COVID. The oldest of 3 children was born July 9, 1975 in Oconto Falls to Kenneth and Judith ((Wise) Topping. Jon grew up in Lena and attended public schools.

On July 21, 2017 he married Jennifer Thorp in Oconto Falls. Jon was employed as an aide for 24 years in the local nursing home and was looking forward to returning to work. He will be lovingly remembered as a kind and gentle person who liked taking care of his residents. Jon enjoyed watching old TV shows and being outdoors with his two dogs, Gabby and Suzie.

Survivors are his wife, Jennie Topping and his mother, Judy Topping, both of Oconto Falls; one sister, Jill (Jeremiah Taylor) Topping, Hatley; one brother, Phillip, Green Bay; his mother-in-law and brother-in-law, Cathy Theisen and Benjamin (Katie) Jones, all of Wausau.

He was preceded in death by his father Ken on October 1, 2020.

Due to the pandemic, no services will be held at this time.
