Jean Marie Lisowe

Jean Marie Lisowe passed peacefully at home surrounded by family December 27, 2025 at the age of 71. She was born on September 18, 1954 to Bill and Marie (Shallow) Grady. On November 13, 1976 she was united in marriage to Timothy M. Lisowe. Together they shared 49 years of happiness.

Jean attended St. Anthony Catholic School and graduated from Oconto Falls High School, Class of 1972. She enjoyed monthly lunches with a group of classmates. She loved a good Danielle Steel book, rummage sales, clearance racks, and Vicks VapoRub. Jean’s greatest accomplishment was raising her three girls and babysitting her grandkids. She loved supporting them and attending all of their events.

Jean is survived by her husband, Tim; parents, Bill and Marie; daughters, Becky (Kenny) Behnke, Amy (Troy) Brehmer, and Courtney (Keaton) Kazik; a daughter she placed for adoption and always held in her heart, Missy Gruszynski; grandchildren, Mathew (Lily Kurek) Behnke, Addyson (Alex Foht) Behnke, Trace Brehmer, Allie Brehmer, Gunner Kazik, Quinn Kazik; siblings, twin sister, Joan (Ron) Curran, Chuck (Debbie) Grady; sisters-in-law, Debbie Leja-Grady, Sue Lisowe, Mary McDermid, and Kathy (Dale) Klosterman; brothers-in-law, John Lisowe and Dave (Becky) Beaumia; special nephew, Travis Grady; and godson, Mat McDermid. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her special dog, Oscar.

She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Hazel Grace Kazik; brother, Timm Grady; parents-in-law, Bob and Shirley Beaumia, brother-in-law, Mike McDermid; great-nephew, Michael Hollis McDermid; and special dogs, Emma and Coco.

A visitation for friends and family will be held after 10:00 am on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls. A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 PM.
