Germaine Meunier

Germaine Meunier, 91, died early Friday morning, October 7, 2022 at Meadowbrook Healthcare Center. She was born June 23, 1931 in rural Oconto Falls to Elmer and Elsie (Hansen) Everard. Germaine grew up in Oconto Falls where she attended public schools, graduating high school with the class of 1949.
On September 3, 1950 she married Denver Meunier and they had six children. Germaine lived all of her life in Oconto Falls where she was once employed at Community Memorial Hospital and later for Dr. John Culver. Germaine will be fondly remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors are her four children, Linda (Clyde) Steiner, Jay (Jan) Meunier, Cindy (Sam) Konitzer and Dean Meunier; 13 grandchildren, Kellie Steiner, Cristy Meunier, Jamie (Amy) Meunier, Gina (Clint) Barth, Laura Vanlanen, John (Katrina) Meunier, Rhonda (Nick Holtger) Konitzer, Nicole Rosenlund, Bobby Rosenlund, Brandon Kleczka, Nicholas Klecka, Mike Alsteen and Tony Alsteen; 27 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Denver in 1978, son Dennis in 1979, daughter Renee Rosenlund in 2010, one grandson Justin Kleczka, one great grandson Buck Kozlovsky, one sister Bev (Norm) Kratz and special friend Arnie Dunk.
Visitation will take place from 9:00 until 11:00 am Friday, October 14, 2022 at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Fr. Walter Stumpf officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.
