Gerald “Jerry” Kralevic

Gerald “Jerry” R. Kralevic, 90, Oconto, formerly of Stiles, died suddenly Friday, March 18, 2022 at The Bay at Oconto. He was born September 19, 1931 in Menominee, MI Township to Edward and Viola (Salewsky) Kralevic. Jerry grew up in Menominee and graduated high school with the class of 1950. As a young man, he moved to Racine for work at various jobs.
On June 24, 1967 he married Joan A. Darge in Illinois. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Mount Pleasant, IL before moving to the Stiles area in 1973. Jerry was employed as a machinist at Paper Converting for 28 years, retiring in 2001. He was a proud and longtime member of the NRA as well as an avid deer hunter and fisherman on the Machickanee Flowage. Jerry will be lovingly remembered as a good friend and husband, father and grandfather to his family.
Survivors are three children, Gerald D. (Chris) Kralevic, Aurora, N.Carolina, Thomas “Danny” (Sherry) Darge, Pearview, TX; Sherry (Ron) Bernick, Wheeler, WI; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren. Great friends (Family) Kenny and Lisa Sharboneau and their children Kyle and Kayla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Joan in 2011 and 2 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held after 9:00 am Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls until the time of service. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home with Deacon Peter Gard officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee, MI.
