Dorothy Ann (Daft) Rusch, born on June 22, 1935, in Oconto Falls, passed away on September 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication. Dorothy was hardworking, helping Herman on the farm, working in the factory, and raising a family. More than anything, she enjoyed serving others by providing wonderful home-cooked meals and fellowshipping with her church family.
Family was Dorothy's top priority, and she cherished every moment spent with her husband of 68 years, Herman Rusch, and their three children, Rick (Elaine) Rusch, Barbara (John) Mueller, and Debra Rusch. Her love extended generously to her grandchildren, Cortny (James DeBrock) Mueller, Trevor (Aly) Mueller, Erika (Josh) Goodwater, Austin Monette, Breiley (Jason) Dordel, Taylor (Billy) Tomchek, and Craig (Melanie Carretero) Rusch, as well as her great-grandsons, Miles, Parker, Milo, and Oliver. Celebrating life with her family through gatherings and events was something that brought her immense joy.
She is further survived by her brother, Ed Daft; sisters, Esther (Mel) Westphal and Marianne Field; brothers-in-law, Ewald Rusch, Erick (Belva) Milchner, and George Janavice.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Herman; parents, Gottlieb and Emma Daft; sisters, Chris (John) Stasney, Ruth Milchner, and Beverly Janavice; parents-in-law, Gustav and Olga (Milchner) Rusch; sisters-in-law, Martha Rusch and Julie Rusch; and brothers-in-law, Gerhardt (Ida) Rusch and Bill Field.
Dorothy had faith in and a great appreciation for her Savior. She enjoyed spending time among His many creations, especially feeding the birds. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support made her a pillar of strength in the lives of many who will carry her memory forward.
