Daniel Aaron Renel

Daniel Aaron Renel, 59, of Cecil left us on May 19, 2025. He was born on December 2, 1965 in Oconto Falls to the late Fred and Marie (Young) Renel.

After graduating high school, he was signed up in the Operating Engineers Local 139 where he had a long career as a Heavy Equipment and Crane Operator, a job which took him all across the state of Wisconsin.

In 2000, he met JoAnn Krueger and they married in 2006. After retiring from construction in 2020 he spent his days hunting, fishing and fixing (he could fix just about anything).

He will be missed dearly by his wife, JoAnn; children, Zach Trappe, Amber Trappe, Melissa Mueller, and Steven (Sienna) Laux; five grandchildren; siblings, Marjorie (Dave) Rutledge, Kevin (Jody) Renel, and Laurie (Tim) Faledas; brothers-in-law, Wayne Mattilia, David (Brenda) Krueger, and Jerry (Marlow) Krueger; sister-in-law, Susan (Randy) Bruetzman; and mother-in-law, Jane Krueger. He is further survived by numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends he made over the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Marie; his father-in-law, Norman Krueger; sister, Kathy Mattilia; and other extended family.

A celebration of Danny's life will be held at a later date.
