Brian J. Arneson

Brian J. Arneson, 60, OcontoFalls, died peacefully on Saturday, July 21, 2018.  He was born August 21, 1957 to John and Elaine (Deering) Arneson.  Brian lived and grew up in the Gillett area and in his younger years, he was a farmer and truck driver.  He enjoyed hunting, trucking, and riding his motorcycle and later in life, worked on the family farm, cut wood and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors are his mother Elaine (Deering) Arneson, Oconto Falls; one daughter Terri (Matt) Golie, Shawano; two grandchildren: Josiah and Quinn Golie; one brother Brad (Lynn) Arneson, Oconto Falls; one niece Brooke Arneson, Cecil; two nephews: Seth (Shawna) Arneson, Cecil; Jack Arneson, Oconto Falls; one great niece, Scarlett Arneson.

He was preceded in death by his father John Arneson.

Private family burial will take place in WoodlawnCemetery, OcontoFalls with Pastor Bill Gruenstern officiating.  Jones Funeral Service in OcontoFalls is serving the Arneson family.

The Arneson family would like to give a special thanks to Julie Blohm, his homecare nurse, the entire medical staffs of St. Clare Hospital in Oconto Falls and St. Mary’s Burn Unit in Milwaukee as well as Woodlands of Gillett Nursing Care Center for taking amazing care of Brian while he was in each of their care.

Brian had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.  He always accepted you for you and would always give you the shirt off his back.  Brian is greatly loved and will be missed my many.
