Beryl C. Delzer

May 08, 1931 - Nov 24, 2021

Beryl C. Delzer, 90, Morgan, died early Wednesday morning, November 24, 2021 at a Green Bay hospital. The middle of 5 children was born May 8, 1931 to Ernest and Edna (Braatz) Calba. Beryl grew up in rural Morgan where she attended Central Morgan Elementary School.

On January 27, 1951 she married Harold Delzer in Oconto. The couple farmed their entire married lives in the Town of Morgan with the help of family members and good friends. Beryl was a longtime and active member of St. John Lutheran Church in the Town of Morgan. She was an avid reader and continued using a wringer washer her entire life. Beryl will be lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always worked hard to make certain things ran smoothly.

Survivors are her two sons, Robert (Linda) and Dennis (Kaye) Delzer; two granddaughters, Carmen (Shaun) Knight and Janel (Shawn) Van Ooyen; two great granddaughters, Marissa Rum and Kyra Van Ooyen; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Petka, Anita Hansen and Joan Delzer all of Morgan; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold on October 16, 2021, one brother Marvin (Bernadette) Calba, three sisters, Dorothy (Lloyd) Stephien, Jeanette (Richard) Gnabsik and June (Don) Suttley, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Alfred (Lois), Hugo (Betty) Jr., George and Otto (Delores) Delzer, Ervin Hansen and Ben Petka.

Visitation will be held after 10:00 am Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Church in the Town of Morgan until the time of service. Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm noon Tuesday at the church with Pastor Roald Harswick officiating. Burial will follow in the Town of Morgan Cemetery.

The Delzer family would like to thank the nurses and staffs of Alpha Senior Concepts in Suamico, St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay and Unity Hospice for the care and concern shown Beryl during their time together.
