Barbara Ann Patenaude

Barbara Ann Patenaude, 90, of Abrams, died peacefully on June 12, 2026 with her family by her side. She was born July 21, 1935 and raised in Oconto County by loving parents Louis and Elizabeth Herr. Barb married Donald Patenaude and together they raised five children. A proud mother and grandmother, she truly enjoyed spending time with her family.

In her free time Barb enjoyed flower gardening and fishing. She also enjoyed the occasional casino run and long trips with her son in his semi-truck. She will be fondly remembered for her compassion toward others and quick wit.

Barb is survived by children, Michael Patenaude, Linda Borko, Dale (Carole) Patenaude, Debra (Jerry Niespodzany) Patenaude, David Patenaude; grandchildren, Jennifer (Sean), Michael (Heather), Joseph (Christy), Candace, Stacey (Joel), Kimberley (Tommy), Tiffaney (Corey), Tommy (Kelly), Donny, Danny, Hope (Garrett); 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Elizabeth Herr; sister, Ann (Al) Kernutt; brother, Douglas Herr; and sons-in-law, Phillip Dantinne and Thomas Borko.

Friends and family are invited to join in honoring Barb's legacy and sharing memories between 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls. As we remember Barb, let us celebrate her life filled with laughter, love, and the joy she brought to all. Her kindness and generous spirit will forever be treasured in the hearts of those she touched.
